Volunteer to Help the Dane County Farmers’ Market

 What Do Volunteers Do?

Volunteers get involved in any of three ways:

Volunteer to help at the Saturday Market Information Booth. The Dane County Farmers’ Market Information Booth is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine. Volunteers work 2-hour shifts and greet visitors, answer questions, and distribute free literature.

Volunteer to help at the Saturday Winter Market Breakfast. The late winter Farmers’ Market, held at the Madison Senior Center, includes the very popular Winter Market Breakfast, a full breakfast for which the main ingredients are vendors' products. The Winter Market Breakfast is organized by the DCFM’s Winter Market Breakfast committee and is staffed by DCFM volunteers.

Volunteer to help Friends of the Dane County Farmers’ Market with any of their many Market-related activities. Volunteers play a major role in every activity or program planned by the Friends of the DCFM. Volunteers assist with food tastings, school program planning and presentation, market tours, Food Share programs information distribution.
